Significant progress has been made in the repatriation efforts of two stolen artefacts from the United States to Thailand, with the return costs being covered by the US government.

New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art said Friday that it will return more than a dozen pieces of ancient artwork to Cambodia and Thailand after they were tied to an art dealer and collector accused of running a huge antiquities trafficking network out of Southeast Asia.
